Labour Hire Licensing & Compliance

MyGig (Workforce Technologies Pty Ltd – ABN 35 673 219 737) is a registered Australian company operating as an Employer of Record (EOR) and compliant labour-hire provider across the country.

We are fully compliant and authorised to operate in all Australian jurisdictions where no specific labour-hire licence is currently required, including:

  • New South Wales
  • Western Australia
  • Tasmania
  • Northern Territory

In these states and territories, there is no formal labour-hire licensing regime in force.

MyGig fully complies with all applicable employment, taxation, and workplace obligations under:

  • The Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and relevant Modern Awards
  • PAYG and Superannuation requirements
  • Workers’ Compensation insurance (state-based)
  • Payroll Tax Act obligations
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards

This means MyGig can legally employ, pay and manage workers, and supply them to business clients in these jurisdictions right now.

Licence Applications Under Way

In jurisdictions that do require a labour-hire licence, MyGig has lodged applications and is completing the final stages of approval in:

  • Queensland – Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017 (QLD)
  • Victoria – Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (VIC)
  • South Australia – Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017 (SA)
  • Australian Capital Territory – Labour Hire Licensing Act 2020 (ACT)

Once approved, MyGig will publish the licence numbers and certificates on this page and within all client and worker documentation.
