What to know about deleting your worker account
With MyGig, you are not just an app user, you are also our Casual Employee, and we are your Employer of Record. That means there are legal and compliance obligations between us.
Because of this, we can’t simply delete your Worker account with one click.
How to resign and close your account
If you want to leave MyGig, you first need to officially resign as a casual employee. The process is simple:
- Let us know that you would like to resign.
- Once we’ve received your resignation, we’ll close your Worker account.
Payroll and compliance obligations
Please note:
- Any payroll or employment records will be kept as required by law for compliance purposes.
- This is a standard requirement for all employers in Australia.
