How to edit a Timesheet?

At the end of each shift, businesses must validate all worker Timesheets. This includes reviewing clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, and attendance details. These will directly determine the worker’s payslip.

—— Timesheet validation is required for workers to get paid. ——

How to review or edit a Timesheet?

  1. Go to your Shifts section.
  2. Open the shift you want to review.
  3. Check each worker’s Timesheet details.
  4. Make any necessary edits or mark specific outcomes (see below).
  5. Once reviewed, click Validate to finalise.

Available actions

  • Mark as no-show – if the worker didn’t attend their shift.
  • Mark as sent home – if the worker had to leave or was dismissed (e.g. wrong attire, shift requirements unmet, late, refused to work, or no longer needed).
  • Block worker – if you don’t want to work with that person again. You’ll need to select a reason from the list:
    • Cancelled/no-showed my shifts
    • Unprofessional demeanour (e.g. bad hygiene, impolite, disrespectful)
    • Excessive cell phone use
    • Poor work ethic
    • Insufficiently skilled for the role
    • Didn’t meet attire/grooming expectations
    • Didn’t follow booking instructions
    • Substance abuse, theft, or fraud (including remote clock-in)
    • Other (please add comments)
    • Not performance related (please add comments)
  • Clock in/out manually – if there was a technical issue (e.g. the worker’s phone was off or the app crashed), you can manually enter the start and end time to ensure accurate payment.

Why this matters?

Validating and accurately editing Timesheets ensures workers are paid correctly and on time. It also helps maintain transparency and fairness across all bookings.
