How to create a new position?

Creating a position on MyGig allows you to define the specific role and working conditions for the shifts you’ll post. Each position is linked to an award and classification, which determines the applicable pay rules.

Required information for each position:

• Role – General category
• Title – Internal or display name for the position
• Award & Classification – Used to calculate pay rates
• Tasks & Duties – What the worker is expected to do. You can select several tasks to be as clear as possible.

Then, for each position, you will have to give more precise information like

• Required Certificates, Experience or Age

• Attire Instructions & Restrictions – What to wear or not wear

• Grooming Instructions – Standards for appearance

• Other Instructions

Once you've created your new position, you're ready to start booking workers for it!
