COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

What it is?

A COVID-19 vaccination certificate is an official record of your vaccination status. It shows how many doses you’ve received and when.

Why it’s needed?

Some workplaces, such as healthcare, aged care, and food service, may still require proof of vaccination for safety and compliance reasons.

Even if not mandatory, having it uploaded can make you eligible for more shifts.

How to obtain it?

You can download your COVID-19 digital certificate from:

  • MyGov → Medicare → Immunisation History
  • Medicare Express app
  • My Health Record

Make sure it shows your full name, date of birth, and vaccination details clearly.

How to renew it?

There’s no renewal needed, but if you receive booster doses, your updated certificate will be automatically available through MyGov or Medicare.

How to upload it to MyGig?

  1. Log in to your MyGig account.
  2. Go to Profile → Documents & Certifications.
  3. Click Upload certification and select COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
  4. Upload a PDF or clear photo of your certificate.
