How to upload your documents, IDs, and certifications?

To be eligible for shifts on MyGig, you must upload valid documents and keep them current. This ensures businesses know you’re ready to work and it protects everyone in the shift environment.

Required documents

These may include:

• ID verification (passport, driver’s licence)
• Proof of right to work in Australia (visa, work permit)
• Certifications and licences if required
• Additional training or skill-assessments relevant to your roles

How to upload?

1. Go to Profile → Documents / Certifications in the app or website
2. Click “Upload Document” and select the file or take a photo
3. Label the document (type, expiry date where relevant)
4. Save and wait for verification (this may take some time)

Keeping documents up-to-date!

• Check expiry dates regularly and upload renewals on time
• If you gain a new qualification, upload it as soon as possible. It may open up more shift opportunities
• Remove outdated or invalid documents

Verified documents boost your profile trust score and make you more attractive to employers on the platform.
